A New Pyrodrones Milestone in Bali
On 8 August 2026, the Wedding of J & E at Hotel Sofitel, Nusa Dua, became iDrone's first pyrodrones show in Bali. A fleet of 200 drones built the wedding visuals while pyrotechnic-equipped units added moving accents of light at selected moments.
The Story of J & E in Formation
The choreography opened with rings and a veil before moving into a boat with a heart, a grand piano, musical notes, and personal messages. The E monogram became a strong visual identity and returned as part of the finale.
Personal Wedding Messages
Forever is always, You have all of me, Grace upon grace, and a reference to John 1:16 added meaning specific to the couple. The words made the show feel like a letter written in the sky rather than a generic visual performance.
When Drones and Pyrotechnics Meet
The pyrotechnic effects appeared as starbursts and lines of light beneath the E monogram. Their placement reinforced the climax, allowing fire to punctuate transitions and the finale without taking over the central story.
Hotel Sofitel Nusa Dua as the Backdrop
The open space and venue landscape in Nusa Dua created a clear viewing area for the formations. Documentation shows guests looking skyward as the monogram and pyrotechnic effects appear, connecting the aerial performance to genuine reactions on site.
A Wedding Show That Became a Milestone
For J & E, the performance belonged to one deeply personal night. For iDrone, it marked the company's pyrodrones debut in Bali and demonstrated how light technology can support intimate wedding storytelling.
