At the heart of Rahmani and Glen’s grand wedding celebration was a story that belonged to the couple. On 12 September 2026, iDrone helped carry that story into the night sky above Plataran Borobudur, Magelang, through a show featuring 150 drones.
The show’s graphics were deeply personal to Rahmani and Glen. iDrone’s role was to help express their journey through a sequence of illuminated aerial formations.
A moment within a longer celebration
The wedding formed part of an extended series of celebrations. The public Still Shots gallery lists the akad ceremony on 11 September and the reception on 12 September 2026. The drone show documented in iDrone’s portfolio took place during the celebration on 12 September.
Within that wider occasion, the performance offered a moment to look up at the couple’s story together. Photographs taken from the reception area show the couple seated side by side, facing the drone formations above them.
Personal graphics in a varied visual language
The photo sequence begins with a heart-shaped takeoff formation, followed by a heart-on-fire motif symbolizing passionate love. The sun and moon represent Rahmani and Glen, bringing both of them into the visual language of the show.
One especially personal detail is the horse formation. It recalls the couple’s engagement journey in Nihi, Sumba. That memory from Sumba appeared again in light during their wedding celebration in Magelang.
The gallery also shows zodiac symbols, a figure with a racket and ball, musical symbols, a ring, and four cat formations. A depiction of part of Borobudur Temple and the RG icon complete the documented collection. RG stands for Rahmani and Glen.
The setting at Plataran Borobudur
The event took place at Plataran Borobudur in Magelang, Central Java. In the photographs taken near the couple, floral arrangements and the venue’s buildings frame the night sky. Aerial views add another perspective, showing the formations in relation to the reception area below.
