Stressful Weather Window
After the opening of 500 drones was finished, heavy rain fell and almost canceled the second show scenario. The operational team immediately went into contingency mode: device protection, timeline re-evaluation, and real-time weather monitoring.
One Hour Before the Second Show
About an hour before the MURI record schedule, weather conditions gradually became safe. Go/no-go decisions are made in stages based on field readings, wind stability and the team's technical readiness. Once all parameters meet safe limits, flight preparations continue.
From Risk to Iconic Results
After conditions were declared safe, the team returned to preparing the flight with a fast tempo and disciplined procedures. As a result, 15 main formations were able to appear in full, including the most iconic visual moments that marked the success of MURI's record show.
Execute to Success
The decision to remain disciplined in weather and safety protocols was a key factor in success. As a result, the 1,500 drone show ran completely until landing, resulting in 15 closing formations and setting a MURI record according to official verification.
