TMII Celebrates Five Decades
April 2025. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) turns 50 years old. As an iconic Indonesian cultural landmark, this golden anniversary celebration cannot be ordinary. TMII management together with Injourney chose the iDRONE drone show to be the highlight of the celebration at Keong Emas IMAX.
This moment is special for us because TMII is not just a tourist park — it is a representation of 34 Indonesian provinces in one place. The show's content must reflect that: richness, diversity and national pride.
Content: Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke
Our creative team worked for 2 weeks to design a formation that reflected Indonesia's diversity. The show opens with a map of the Indonesian archipelago in the form of a drone configuration — from Sabang to Merauke, the entire archipelago is depicted in light.
The next formation: Javanese batik ornaments, Papuan birds of paradise, Batak Tor-tors, and of course Garuda Pancasila as the culmination. Each transition is accompanied by regional music chosen by the TMII cultural curator.
Appreciation and Legacy
The show lasted 8 minutes and was witnessed by thousands of visitors in the Keong Emas area as well as hundreds of invited government guests. This is one of the most meaningful shows in iDRONE's journey — not because of its technical scale, but because of its cultural weight.
For iDRONE as an Indonesian company, being trusted to celebrate 50 years of one of the national icons is an honor that cannot be measured in numbers.
